THE ISLANDER SUMMARY |
THE ISLANDER is GTD's coastal island camping retreat which includes two nights & two days of exciting island games, competitions, campfires, cookouts, fellowship, praise & worship, and God-awesome sunsets. We will camp on one of four man made spoil islands - Cancun, Alcatraz, Greenland, or Australia.
Everyone will break into teams on Saturday to compete in some amazing island competitions such as Bucket Brigade, Tug-of-War, Soggy Relay Race, Memory, & Points-Of-Contact to name a few. In addition, participants will enjoy the use of GTD's 3 Kayaks, Aqua Volleyball Floating Court, Emperior Island Lounge and 2 Super Bouncers. Each night we will roast marsmallows as we enjoy a great time of fellowship around a sea side campfire. THE ISLANDER is a Christ centered retreat that is both fun and spiritually impacting. Our daily devotions and nightly Impact Points will challenge you to seek God first in all that you do. Come take the plunge and leave refreshed! |
